Ondermersschool's teacher team consists of active professionals and accomplished entrepreneurs in their respective fields. As a teacher, you need to have at least 3-5 years of experience in your occupation. You must also have the necessary pedagogical qualifications - teaching experience is a plus. In order to guarantee the quality of our education, we prefer people who took a course with us, graduated with excellent marks, and have at least three years of self-employed experience.

We're a recognized training provider with the Flemish government. Due to legislation changes, we can only accept training cheques for people in career counseling.

Remember that your spot in class is only guaranteed once you've paid your registration fee. You'll receive a confirmation after your payment.
Bring the confirmation with you to your first class. You can always visit the secretariat to sign up on-site, and pay the registration fee with a bank card or credit card.
In class, you'll be using school supplies. If you need anything else for a course, that will be stated on the course page and on your student profile.
You can also buy your own supplies. You'll know you're always the only one touching and using them, and you can always bring them home for extra practice. You'll also have a professional-grade supply set in your possession when you graduate - which means one less thing to worry about when starting your new business.
We have a very diverse student body, including different age groups. Most of our students vary between 18 and 45, but we've had students over 90, as well! Minors can also sign up for a course with parental consent.
If you want to gain more experience, practice in a real-world environment and strengthen your CV, you can do an internship at a company of your choice. We can provide you with an internship contract to link your internship to your studies with us.

We have 3000+ starting dates for group courses and virtual classes every year. Our schedule is always evolving - when a group session is full, a new one is scheduled immediately. So check your schedule regularly. You'll usually attend classes once a week, during a morning or an evening course.
For example, if you pick a 5-lesson course that starts on a Wednesday evening, you'll be in class 5 Wednesday evenings in a row.
Some courses only take place on weekends and can last a full day. After your registration is complete, you'll get a confirmation with the dates of your classes.

Your registration is complete when you've registered and we've received your payment. You'll receive a confirmation e-mail from us with details regarding your course.
If you have a valid company number at the time of registration, you can get an invoice. This means that you're already self-employed. When the company has paid the full course fee, an invoice will be issued. You can then e-mail us with your student number, company details, your name and the billing address, and you'll get the invoice in the mail.
