With a training party & glam make-up you can go in many different directions. Do you want to become a make-up artist on a film set? Teach brides how to make up for the big day? Or would you like to start in the fashion or event sector? You can also start your own business as an independent make-up artist. The possibilities are endless. Obtain your diploma and expand your skills to create a beautiful portfolio.

Having a trendy party look is a must-have. I notice that students from this school really do have an edge over other make-up artists. They master the techniques and know their trade through and through. More and more clients are looking for something a little more daring and MUA has to be up to date with the latest trends. - employerSpeaks

It is crucial for makeup artists to always be up to date with the latest trends. These are constantly changing, so you need to find the right channels to stay up to date and get inspired. Follow some important beauty accounts on Instagram or visit a makeup convention.

More and more cosmetic brands want to contribute to a better and healthier world. They are fully committed to natural and sustainable products and packaging in order to reduce their impact on the environment. Some products are even completely 'zero waste' and do not leave behind any (plastic) waste. Attention is also paid more often to animal suffering. Many makeup products are tested on animals to study side effects, but more and more brands are putting a stop to this and are going the vegan and cruelty free route.

It has always been my dream to start a career as a make-up artist. I first followed a basic education and then a course in party make-up. Thanks to the personal guidance of my teacher, I learned the techniques super-fast and immediately received assignments. I even signed up for the next course: eyelash and eyebrow specialist! - exStudentSpeaking

Without a solid portfolio it will be harder to succeed in the industry as a make-up artist. Our students have understood this well, because they are all equally eager to learn, enthusiastic and motivated. Whether they are beginners or experienced professionals, everyone benefits from learning extra skills. A good party look is really essential as a make-up artist. Our teachers know from their own experience perfectly how to steer their students to be satisfied with only the very best.

  • The very first mascara was made more than 4000 years ago. It consisted of honey, carbon and... crocodile droppings!
  • L'Oréal is the largest and best-known makeup brand. The company was founded in 1909 by a French chemist. Originally, L'Oréal only sold color rinses for the hair.
  • The makeup world also has its own celebrities: Bobbi Brown, Pat McGrath, Tom Pecheux and Charlotte Tilbury, among others, have long proven their skills and are influencing today's MUAs.
