Be sure of your future!

As an expert in natural health you can work as an alternative therapist or natural nutritionist in a specialty store. You help people with advice on healthy and natural nutrition adapted to the person. Or you apply certain healing therapies, such as gemmotherapy, Bach Blossom therapy or aromatherapy.

In our practice we work with a few therapists. Most of us have already completed our training through evening classes. It is important in this field to educate yourself from time to time and learn about and use new techniques. - Employer speaks

Trends

Ayurveda is going mainstream. For years, Ayurvedic herbs have been used in India. According to Ayurveda, certain plants have restorative properties that make them increase health and longevity. Today you find herbs everywhere, for example in the form of supplements, or even in spicy green smoothies.

Natural Healing, 100% of the time

Acupressure is the new acupuncture. Both techniques are very similar, but acupressure does not use needles. Instead, therapists use their bodies. They press on certain points on the body with their hands, elbows and feet. In this way, they relieve pain and stress and improve the overall well-being of their clients.

I took the Natural Medicine and Natural Nutrition courses. Both courses were enormously informative and I found it a fascinating experience. Thanks to my training I was able to start as a Natural Nutritionist. I now work as a freelancer and help my clients with their complaints by prescribing the appropriate natural nutrition. - Ex-student speaking

  • In traditional Chinese medicine, more than 5000 different plants are used. The Native Americans also used over 2500 of them in their medicines.
  • The origins of aromatherapy date back to the twentieth century, when a man named Gattefosse soaked his burned hand in a lavender infusion, which accelerated the healing of the burn. It is believed that this incident led to the birth of natural medicine.
  • Naturopathy evolved from the ancient medicinal traditions of Europe, specifically the early Greek medical philosophy.
