If you are ready, take your exam at one of our exam locations and if you pass, you will receive the diploma!

Practical experience and internship

Do you want to put your knowledge from the Writing Poems course into practice? Then follow an internship. You gain concrete work experience, really use the subject matter in practice, and further develop your network. Handy for later, because that way you also increase your chances of getting started as Poet.

You can choose the period, place and duration yourself. Once you have found your ideal internship position, request an internship agreement from your training consultant. You then complete this together with your internship provider and return it to us. You can then get started right away, with a maximum of 300 internship hours. Make sure you have completed everything in order to obtain your diploma.

Exam and diploma

At the end of your studies you make a final assignment. Your teacher assesses that assignment. Do you score at least 60%? Bravo, you passed! You will receive the diploma Writing Poems by post. With this diploma you are immediately employable on the labor market as Poet. If you want to start as a self-employed person in primary or secondary occupation, it is also useful to also do the home study Start your own business to follow. That course will prepare you perfectly for your new adventure.

What is the age of the students?

There are students who come straight from the school desks and still want to go in a different direction or want to expand their knowledge, young people who want to make a switch or become self-employed after a career of several years, and people in their forties or fifties who reach the end of their career still want to do something else. In addition, we also have a few courses that are purely hobby-oriented. Minors can also participate, subject to parental consent.

How do I register for a course?

You can do this on one of our secretariats or simply online by filling in the registration form and make a payment .

When will my registration be final?

Your registration is final when you have registered and we have received a payment. You will receive a confirmation email from us with all practical information such as the log-in for the student platform.

What if I have a question about the subject matter while studying my home course?

You will receive guidance from an experienced teacher for a year, this is included in the course fee. Via a student platform you can ask your teacher questions, make exercises and submit tasks. This guidance can be extended if you wish.

What do I get sent home?

What will change in September 2018 if I want to become self-employed?

From September 2018 you no longer have to take an exam at the Central Examination Board in Brussels to obtain an official Business Management certificate. So this is a big advantage; you can simply obtain the diploma at our school. Knowledge of business management gives you a big lead over your competitors in the development of your business or independent activity. To customers, this is a true proof of quality.

Where and when do I take the exam?

After studying your course, you take the Writing Poems exam at one of our exam locations. If you have achieved at least 60%, then you have passed and you will receive the diploma Writing Poems by post. With this you can immediately apply for your dream job as Poet. If you want to start your own business as a self-employed person, you also need the Business Management certificate. For this you follow our training and take the exam at the Central Examination Board (from September 2018 you can also just do this at our school).
