You can get started right after your registration! The digital course is immediately on your profile page. The paper version will be posted immediately and you will receive it quickly at home. Thanks to the flexibility of a home study you study where and when you want. You will receive guidance for a year from a top teacher with a mind for fashion and a nose for business. Via an online platform this mentor gives you practical exercises, extensive feedback and tips from the professional field, so you are not alone! If you are ready, take your exam at one of our exam locations and if you pass, you will receive the diploma!
You will receive specially developed, loose-leaf teaching material in a handy storage folder. You do not have to purchase additional books and therefore have everything you need to make your home study a success. Your textbook contains practical questions at the end of each chapter, comparable to the exam questions. This way, you will be thoroughly prepared when you are ready to obtain your diploma!
Do you want to gain practical work experience before your exam? Then follow an internship. For example, visit a boutique or a clothing store in your area, ask for a nice internship and learn all the tricks of the trade. You gather relevant practical experience during an internship. That looks great on your resume. You also get to know new people within the fashion sector. This is useful for later, because an internship is the ideal springboard to a wonderful career as Style Consultant.
You can choose the period, place and duration of the internship yourself. Have you found an educational internship? Then request an internship agreement from your training consultant. Complete this document together with your internship provider and return it to us. You can then start immediately, with a maximum of 300 internship hours. Make sure you have completed everything before obtaining your diploma. You are of course not required to do an internship.
At the end of your studies you defend a portfolio. Your teacher assesses this portfolio. Do you score at least 60%? Congratulations, you have passed! You will receive the diploma Style Consultant by post. With this diploma you are immediately employable on the labor market as Style Consultant. If you want to start as a self-employed person in primary or secondary occupation, it is also useful to also do the home study Start your own business to follow. That course will prepare you for your new adventure.
