Is your exam a success? Then you will receive the diploma Pattern Designer!
You will receive specially developed, loose-leaf teaching material in a handy storage folder. You do not have to purchase additional books and therefore have everything you need to make your home study a success. Your textbook contains practical questions at the end of each chapter, comparable to the exam questions. This way, you will be thoroughly prepared when you are ready to obtain your diploma!
Do you want to gain practical work experience before your exam? Then follow an internship. Drop in at a clothing store, fashion house or repair shop in your area, tell something more about your education and ask for an interesting internship. This way you gain practical experience and you use the subject matter in an active way. In this way you also get to know new people within the fashion sector. This is useful for later, because an internship is the ideal springboard to a wonderful career as Pattern Designer.
You can choose the period, place and duration of the internship yourself. Have you found an educational internship? Then request an internship agreement from your training consultant. Complete this document together with your internship provider and return it to us. You can then start immediately, with a maximum of 300 internship hours. Make sure you have completed everything before obtaining your diploma. You are of course not required to do an internship.
Have you mastered the subject matter? Then you take the exam at one of our exam locations. You choose your own exam time. Do you score at least 60%? Congratulations, you have passed! You will receive the diploma Pattern Designer by post. With this diploma you are immediately employable on the labor market as Pattern Designer. If you want to start as a self-employed person in primary or secondary occupation, it is also useful to also do the home study Start your own business to follow. That course will prepare you for your new adventure.
