In addition, you will receive online guidance from a real fashion guru for a year. That way you will never be alone! If you are ready, take your exam at one of our exam locations. Did you graduate? Then you will receive the diploma Pattern Designer Advanced!
Do you want to gain practical work experience before your exam? Then follow an internship. Drop in at a clothing store, fashion house or repair shop in your area, tell a little more about your education and ask for a nice internship. This way you get to know the tricks of the trade and you test your skills in practice. You also build a network within the fashion world. This is useful for later, because an internship is the perfect springboard to a wonderful career as Pattern Designer.
You can choose the period, place and duration of the internship yourself. Have you found an educational internship? Then request an internship agreement from your training consultant. Complete this document together with your internship provider and return it to us. You can then start immediately, with a maximum of 300 internship hours. Make sure you have completed everything before obtaining your diploma. You are of course not required to do an internship.
Have you mastered the subject matter? Then you take the exam at one of our exam locations. You choose your own exam time. Do you score at least 60%? Congratulations, you have passed! You will receive the diploma Pattern Designer Advanced by post. With this diploma you are immediately employable on the labor market as Pattern Designer. If you want to start as a self-employed person in primary or secondary occupation, it is also useful to also do the home study Start your own business to follow. That course will prepare you for your new adventure.
