You can get started right after your registration! The digital course is on your profile page and on the online learning platform within 1 minute. The paper version will be posted immediately. So that is quickly in your mailbox. Thanks to the flexibility of a home study you study where and when you want. You receive guidance from an investment veteran and experienced teacher for a year. This gives you practical exercises, essential online tools for prospective investment advisers and tips from the professional field. So you are not alone! If you are ready, take your exam at one of our exam locations. Did you graduate? Then you will receive the diploma Investing (Basic)!
You’ll receive a folder with specially designed teaching materials. No additional books necessary; you already have everything you need to succeed in your study. At the end of each chapter in your textbook, you’ll find practical questions similar to the ones on the exam. This way, when the time comes to earn your diploma, you’ll be ready!
Do you want to gain work experience before the end of your home study? Then follow an internship. Stop by a bank in your area, show your skills and offer yourself as an intern. It's that simple! During an internship you gather practical experience and get to know new people from the field. This is useful for later, because an internship is the optimal step towards a new career as Investment Expert.
You can choose the period, place and duration of the internship yourself. Have you found an educational internship? Then request an internship agreement from your training consultant. Complete this document together with your internship provider and return it to us. You can then start immediately, with a maximum of 300 internship hours. Make sure you have completed everything before obtaining your diploma. You are of course not required to do an internship.
After completing the course, you take a theoretical and practical exam at one of our exam locations. You choose your own exam time. Do you score at least 60% on both exams? Bravo, you passed! You will receive the diploma Investing (Basic) by post. With this diploma you are immediately employable on the labor market as Investment Expert. If you want to start as a self-employed person in primary or secondary occupation, it is also useful to also do the home study Start your own business to follow. That course will prepare you perfectly for your new adventure.

For this you will receive an illustrated course book, one year of practical guidance from a top teacher and former investment expert at one of the largest banks in Belgium, access to additional interactive teaching material on our online learning platform and the possibility to take a free exam within five years.
