And once you’re ready, you can take your exam at one of our locations, and get your diploma!
You receive specially developed, loose-leaf teaching material in a handy storage folder. You have everything you need to make your home study a success. Your textbook contains practical questions at the end of each chapter, comparable to the exam questions. This way, you are prepared when the time to obtain your diploma comes!
Do you want to put your knowledge from the Family Counseling course into practice? Then follow an internship at an experienced bicycle repair shop. You gain concrete work experience, really use the subject matter in practice, and further develop your network. Handy for later, because an internship is the ideal step towards a great career as Family Therapist. Of course you are not obliged to do an internship.
You can choose the period, place and duration of the internship yourself. Have you found a great internship? Then request an internship agreement from your training consultant. You complete this agreement together with your internship provider and return it to us. You can then start immediately, with a maximum of 300 internship hours. Make sure that you have completed everything before obtaining your diploma.
After completing the course, you take a theoretical exam at one of our exam locations. You choose your own exam time. Do you score at least 60%? Bravo, you passed! You will receive the diploma Family Counseling by post. With this diploma you are immediately employable on the labor market as Family Therapist. If you want to start as a self-employed person in primary or secondary occupation, it is also useful to also do the home study Start your own business to follow. From September 2018 you no longer have to take an exam at the Central Examination Board in Brussels to obtain an official Business Management certificate. So this is a big advantage; you can simply obtain the diploma at our school. Knowledge of business management gives you a big lead over your competitors in the development of your business or independent activity. To customers, this is a real proof of quality.
After completing your course, take the Family Counseling exam at one of our exam locations. If you have achieved at least 60%, then you have passed and you will receive the diploma Family Counseling by post. With this you can immediately apply for your dream job as Family Therapist.
