As humans we sometimes have to deal with negative thoughts or feelings, such as pain, fear and sadness. Because these thinking patterns and emotions are not pleasant, we unconsciously spend a lot of time and force pushing them into the background. However, it is much better to deal with it in a healthy way and to be open to new, positive experiences.
Thanks to ACT you help your clients to accept these thoughts and emotions and to focus on what is. goes well by letting go of situations with techniques such as Mindfulness, Cognitive Defusion and metaphors. ACT is therefore extremely effective in disorders such as depression or relieving anxiety attacks.
The first step toward change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.
You receive specially developed, loose-leaf teaching material in a handy storage folder. You have everything you need to make your home study a success. Your textbook contains practical questions at the end of each chapter, comparable to the exam questions. This way, you are prepared when the time to obtain your diploma comes!
You can choose the period, place and duration of the internship yourself. Have you found a great internship? Then request an internship agreement from your training consultant. You complete this agreement together with your internship provider and return it to us. You can then get started right away, with a maximum of 300 internship hours. Make sure you have completed everything before obtaining your diploma. That is how you completely left for your future career as ACT Coach. You are of course not required to do an internship.
